Dear Fellow Wound Carers
November we are celebrating World Diabetes Day in creating more awareness about diabetes. During this month we will also be doing our last course of the year; the Advanced Diabetic Foot Management Course (ADF) 21-22 November 2012 at Eloquent Headquarters. This is your last opportunity to attend this advanced practical course including the following sessions:
- Epidemiology
- Wound bed preparation and management of the Diabetic foot
- Demonstration of Total Contact Casting (TCC)
- Debridement workshop
- Foot Examination
- Multi-disciplinary involvement includes practical with a diabetes educator, podiatrist, orthotist, optometrist and wound care specialist.
- Adjunctive Therapies
Join us this month for Blue Fridays in order to show your support for raising diabetes awareness in your community.Please contact Meinke should you require any further information about the upcomming course.
